Gerald's strategy to investing centers around listening to the customer to gain an understanding of their investment and insurance needs. Only with this information in hand, can they together build a plan to reach their long term objectives.

 

Gerald began his investment services career in 1993.  He joined Southwest Securities, Inc. in 1994 as an Examiner in the Compliance and Legal Department. While in this role, Gerald earned his General Securities Principal, Municipal Securities Principal and Options Principal licenses. After a few years, he moved to Southwest Securities’ Bond Department serving as the Director of Fixed Income Compliance, and began building his own book of business.  It was then that he found the excitement of educating investors and guiding them in achieving their financial goals.

 

In 1999, Gerald served as President for a small broker dealer. There he learned that his passion is working with and guiding individuals to establish and fullfill their lifetime goals.  As a result, he re-affiliated himself with the Southwest Securities family as a Registered Representative with SWS Financial Services, Inc. in January 2000.  Since joining SWS Financial Services, Inc., Gerald remains focussed on his work with individual investors as an educator and consultant.

 

Gerald, his wife, and their two sons, reside in Colleyville, TX.
